Nontimber Forest Products (NTFPs) are all goods derived from forests of plant origin other than timber. These products have some value for humans, whether they serve commercial, subsistence, recreational, or spiritual purposes. NTFPs are contained in nearly everything we use on a daily basis. Look around you, and try to point out what was derived from the forest! It will not be a difficult task.
